Safe Haven’s Home Court Summer Basketball Camp is now open for registration!

Boys and Girls ages 7 to 15 can enjoy full weeks of supervised instruction and games during summer vacation, from July 10 to July 28. Open to everyone! Not limited to Safe Haven players.

The Safe Haven West Side Basketball League’s staff of professional instructors—Nate McGrory, Jake Sands, Brian DeJesus, Dacey Sands and Peter Kiss— will again facilitate a dynamic program geared to meet the needs of all players from beginner to advanced skill levels.

DATES- Week 1: July 10 – 14; Week 2: July 17 – 21; Week 3: July 24 – 28.

  • Hours: 9am – 4pm (Doors open 8:30a.m.)
  • Location: PS 6 at 45 East 81st Street between Madison Ave. & Park Ave.
  • Lunch: Bring lunch, snacks and water; pizza option Fridays.

Program Fees

Single Weeks: $275 per week UNTIL JUNE 25; $325 per week AFTER JUNE 25.

What’s new: We have partnered with LeagueApps to create a customized registration system that is up-to-date and user-friendly. Create an account, add players, edit information or review your history at any time. No need to re-enter basic info to register for another program; it stays in the system. Credit card payments managed by PayPal are quickly confirmed.

February 21 – 24, 2017 Home Court Presidents Week Sports Camp

* Individual divisions may vary schedule. All league divisions meet weekends in Upper West Side Public Schools. Boys and girls age 12/grade 7 will play Sundays only.

** Home Court dates to be finalized.

Registration Fees
  • All options include a $10 non-refundable administrative charge.
  • Full Fee: $150 Contributions above this amount provide scholarship assistance.
  • Partial scholarship- Reduced fee: $60
  • Full scholarship: Available to players in elementary or middle public schools and to Special Needs Champions Division. Requires a written explanation of need and $10 administrative fee.
